Behind the Scenes: Creating Sikh-Inspired Streetwear

It Starts with a Story

Before any design goes to print, it starts with a conversation. A piece of history. A phrase from Gurbani. A moment from the battlefield. At Sikhrich, we don't design clothing — we design meaning. And every piece we create is rooted in the rich, powerful story of Sikh heritage.

We started Sikhrich because we looked around and didn't see our community represented in the streetwear world. We saw brands built on culture — but not our culture. So we decided to build it ourselves.

From Concept to Creation

Every Sikhrich design begins with research. We dig into Sikh history, Gurbani, the lives of the Gurus, and the legacy of the Sikh warriors. We ask: what is the story that needs to be told right now? What does our community need to see reflected back at them?

From there, the concept takes shape — a phrase, a symbol, an image. We work to translate that meaning into a visual language that feels both deeply rooted and completely contemporary. Sikh streetwear should feel timeless and fresh at the same time.

Quality That Matches the Message

We're serious about the quality of our garments because we're serious about the message they carry. A piece of Sikhrich clothing should feel as substantial as the history it represents. We source heavyweight fabrics, work with skilled manufacturers, and obsess over every detail — from the weight of the cotton to the precision of the print.

When you put on a Sikhrich hoodie, you should feel it. That weight is intentional.

Built by the Community

Sikhrich isn't a brand built in a boardroom. It's built by someone who grew up in this community, who understands what it means to navigate the world as a Sikh, and who believes that our culture deserves to be celebrated loudly and proudly.

Every piece of feedback from our customers shapes what we create next. Every tag on Instagram, every message, every conversation at the gurdwara — it all feeds back into the work. This brand belongs to the community.

What's Coming Next
